Dear Belgica & BCCSA members, Belgians and friends,

St Nicholas will be visiting Cape Town on Sunday 1 December 2019.
The Saint will arrive at the Residence of the Belgian Ambassador at 29 Boshof Avenue in Newlands at 13h00. The gates will open at 11h30 and close at 15h00. Children of all ages are welcome to greet the Saint and will receive a bag of sweets/goodies and a gift*.

Please, bring your own picnic. Hamburgers and Belgian ‘Frites’ will be for sale. Free drinks (soft drinks, beers, wines) will be available for young* and old, kindly sponsored by the Consulate of Belgium in Cape Town.
It is expected to be warm and sunny so please, bring some sunscreen and an UMBRELLA or GAZEBO in addition to your picnic TABLE and CHAIRS.

Admission

Everybody is welcome, and entrance fees will be as follows:
Belgica & BCCSA members and their children: free entrance
Non-members: Adults (over 18) – R100 p.p / Children (12-18) – R50 p.p. / Children
under 12: free entrance

Please, RSVP to belgicacapeclub@gmail.com and make your EFT payment accordingly by no later than 27 November (see banking details below).
For catering purposes, also place your advance order of Hamburgers and/or chips in the same email.
All parents of under-12 children: please, send an email by no later than 25 November to hans.verheye@gmail.com with a few words about your child/ren to be entered in the Saint’s Big Book and read out by the Saint on the day (anything received after 25 November will not be considered).

*Members AND Non-Members: please, bring a small present (limited to one per child) costing no more than R100, possibly fitting into a shoebox, wrapped, and with your child’s name clearly marked on it. This is for under-12 children only. Please note: your child will not receive a present (except for a bag of sweets/ goodies) unless you bring a present and give it, discreetly (e.g. in a black bag), to one of the attendants at the entrance prior to the arrival of the Saint.

No alcohol will be served to under-18s.
