The weekend of April 20th was very busy with events from the activities point of view.
The Belgian Club of South Africa was invited to present the French conversation course to the professors of the Coastal KZN Colleges. This will certainly result in increased collaboration between our two countries in the field of education (see photos).
The other event during the weekend was certainly the official inauguration of the Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Durban. It was held at the Belgian consulate in Durban in the presence of H. Consul general Alain Gringoire. This partnership between the consulate and the Belgian Chamber of Commerce will certainly make the Belgian companies better acquainted with the members of the Club and the whole Belgian community in particular. The ceremony ended with a lunch organized by our Consul (see photos).
Finally, the French conversation course was held on Saturday morning at the Royal Natal yacht Club as usual where we were able to welcome a new student, Nohemy.
After consultation with the participants, it was decided to resume the course in August.
In fact, Robert Fourny, who is giving this course, goes to Europe to negotiate new links with the parent organizations. The courses will therefore resume every 3rd Saturday from 9.30 am to 11.30 am from the month of August onwards.
By then, enjoy personal studying/training !
